Blue Thermoformer Upgrade
Problem
The Customer has a thermoformer that is working with a discontinued SIEMENS PLC (S7-200). Since support and safety updates are not available for that PLC, troubleshooting and service to the machine becomes much more difficult.
Solution
To upgrade and increase the Blue Thermoformer capabilities, PC&E replaces the SIEMENS S7-200 PLC with a SIEMENS S7-1200 PLC, installed a new SIEMENS HMI, and provided the customer with the electrical drawings for the machine.
