Extruder Winders Siemens Conversion
Problem
The customer had an obsolete system, which for the current demand turns out to be a bit slow. It was necessary to perform an update for the controls of a winder or simply make a unit similar to Siemens Sinamics, so that in a single trip it would transport 3 extruders.
Solution
Using Siemens devices, PC&E performed an upgrade to the extruder’s winder control system. In addition, PC&E added a SIEMENS SIMATIC S7-1200 series PLC with a SIMATIC HMI COMFORT. And integrated a PROFINET network, as well as the addition of a set of units and modules to control the extruder winders.
