Problem
The client wants their educational robotic station to exhibit Industry 4.0 by incorporating intelligent and autonomous systems that provide both interpretable and usable data.
Solution
PC&E improved the Robotic Station by updating the existing robot with a 6-axis robot (UR3), a YAMAHA robot controller with an RCX340, replacing the IDEC PLC with a SIEMENS S7-1200, and integrating new components. These modifications ensure the functionality of the assembly robotic station when executing tasks such as sorting, placing, assembling, and inspecting.
